Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it can. It is a specific load setting. To bypass it, just dont use that setting. If you do ever go to use it in the future, know that the dryer does come with the steam hose connector.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. The only way you can hook it up is have the washer and dryer sit next to each other. Mine sit across from each other and I was told they don’t sell a hose long enough to run around to the other side. Plus I think it would look tacky if it was. Long story short, steam is not set up on my dryer and it works just fine.
