• Yes, and it has to be heat resistant so it’s metal. It does NOT come with the appliance, must buy sperately.

• Yes, I asked the install tech about that, and he affirmed the hose extra is for dryer steam setting...clothes have never looked better wrinkles gone, etc.

• yes. You need to use the Y fitting that comes with the washer on the cold water faucet and then run one hose to the washer and one to the dryer very easy install just ensure you tighten both appropriately
