• You will need about 5 inches of clearance. Enough room for the 4 inch duct work to come out and turn. The washer requires less room. You should be under 36 inch depth.

• Hi There, Thanks for asking! We appreciate your query regarding the dryer. The dryer unit requires a back clearance of at least 5 15/16 of an inch from the wall. If the washer and dryer are installed together or the dryer alone, the closet front must have two unobstructed air openings for a combined minimum total area of 72-inch.
