You might have accumulated lint in vent behind unit causing unit to overheat faster so unit thermal sensor shuts down flame. When machine is running feel vent outside to see if air blows strong. Also check for lint buildup in vent hose/pipe. Worse case is opening unit up to see if exhaust fan to dryer screen filter is free from lint
