This tv DOES support HDR, but not in the sense of the wide color gamut or the 10 bit panel. It will however convert the metadata from blurays that have been recorded in HDR and the tv will max out the brightness it can reach. While it's not TRUE HDR, HDR content will still look better on this versus a tv which doesn't support it at all.
