• A:Answer We were told this is the last of the 2015 units, and that Samsung will no longer be making this type of 3-D TV's. (They will be going to a new technology). We had a 50" Samsung 3-D TV but wanted to upgrade to a larger screen, and when we found out there weren't going to BE any more big Samsung 3-D TV's made, we purchased this 75" to be able to use our existing 3-D glasses that are about 4 years old. We have been happy with our purchase.
