• A:Answer Yes, a big difference.. The 8000 series has a simple slim remote with voice control, the 7000 series is a bigger remote and I thought it was more difficult to navigate

• A:Answer I don’t know why manufacturers are going away from headphone jacks does it add that much to the cost of manufacturing a product especially a $1000 tv. You can get a small transfer box to switch the optical to analog for about $20 or so hope this helps.

Q: QuestionDoes the au8000 support Dolby Atmos with a Sonos Arc connected to the eArc input? Would the sound quality be as good as a higher end television?

• A:Answer Hi Cheezer! You can set the TV to allow Dolby Digital+ with Atmos streams that are input from external devices. Set to ON if the audio device connected via HDMI (eARC) supports Dolby Atmos. eARC will allow uncompressed Atmos. As long as your external device supports Atmos, you can pass-through Atmos via eARC without issue. ^Tim
