A:AnswerThe TV stand works great and is stable inpart due to the weight of the TV - though the manufacturer recommends adding a cable to the back of the TV and then anchor to the wall to prevent the TV from tipping over. Bought a new TV table but it was not deep enough for the TV stand. The TV table needs to be 20 inches in depth to accommodate the TV stand.
A:AnswerThe base stand attaches to the center of the TV in the shape of an upside-down Y. The width of the Y is approximately 45 inches. The depth is approximately 18 inches from where it mounts at the base of the TV. If it's going to sit on a TV stand of some sort, the top of the stand needs to have a measurement of at least 18 inches deep and 48 inches wide, but the TV is 66 inches wide and would look strange on a 48 inch TV stand. A 60 inch wide TV stand would look better to sit the TV on . I didn't use the stand. I mounted mine on the wall with multi-positioning wall mount. P.S. Amazing picture!
A:AnswerNo analog audio RCA. Either uses your choice of a fiber optic audio cable or an HDMI ARC to send audio. In your case you will need to use the fiber optic audio output from the TV and connect that to your reciver using a little $40 adapter box which they sell at best buy. It converts fiber optic audio to analog rca. I had the same issue as you but I ended up just buying a new reciever from Best Buy. But the adapter is available for $40.
