The answer is NO. The unit is powered from the OneConnect box, which is what needs the 120V outlet behind your TV, and the box is huge, even wider then a standard stud bay, so it must go vertical when in a recessed wall box. Google "SNAPAV Versa Box for OneConnect" if you want one. The TV is powered and controlled from a single fiber cable that connects between the OneConnect and TV; connections are proprietary too, unfortunately.
