• The tv has speakers, but my sound bar bi-passes them when connected. My soundbar completes the viewing experience, my Best Buy associate made the recommendation, and he set me up perfect.

• Yes this TV has a great sound system by itself. Add the Samsung sound bar and it's awesome.
