“my current 6 year old samsung 8500F series tv contoller box hdmi ports went out and the tv itself does not support any apps such as paramount plus ,hulu, peacock... do the new samsung tvs support these apps for download directly to tv.”

I had the same concerns! All standard app like Apple TV, YouTube, Netflix are pre installed. Paramount+ took 2 minutes to install on the tv. Works without any issues. I am using the 85” Q80B model.
