apb86 - The 75" QN84A is indeed a Best Buy exclusive model featuring 40 Watt 2.2 Channel sound, as well at Object Tracking Sound Lite which virtually tracks objects moving across screen and products sound. The QN85A features 60 Watt 2.2.2 Channel sound with Object Tracking Sound which adds two height speakers to provide you with 3D sound with dedicated speakers that track every movement on the screen. ^Gina
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Is it still an IPS panel?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not seeing it miss anything with Alexa, as it still a voice assistant built in. I'm wondering if it is missing the HDMI eARC. That's really the only spec I can find other than the QN85AA LED panel type says it is Neo QLED while this, the QN84AA only says the LED panel type is QLED. If both of these things aren't missing, this is a heck of a deal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Following. I'm wondering the same thing. It looks like it is missing some of the Amazon Alexa features.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s the same thing except the Speakers! I owned the QN85A and returned it to get the QN84A saved $600. I even put them side by side before returning it. The box was the same and specs. The refresh rate as both the same 120hz. It has the Turbo acceleration +. It has an ADS panel which is similar to an IPS panel. This Tv is worth the steal! I’m a Best Buy employee too. Trust me it’s the same exact Tv, either way always get the protection plan
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I responded earlier, but just found out the answer. It's the motion rate. The QN85A has a 240 Hz rate and the QN84A has 120 Hz. To put in perspective, the Q80A has 240 Hz motion rate, so they downplay how well it gets rid of the blur from the screen while watching fast paced movies or sports. This is noticeable on such a large screen, so that really hurts.
