Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just reached out to Samsung and it's the motion rate. The QN85A has 240 Hz and the QN84A has 120 Hz. To put this in perspective, the QN80A has a 240 Hz motion rate. This helps get rid of the blur which can be seen in fast paced scenes in movies and sports.
