I use a sound bar. However, I just played with the equalizer and , no, I do not hear any difference either. The only time I hear a change is going from standard mode to amplified. But you can only make changes to the equalizer in the standard mode, which doesn’t seem to work. I might just call them back out to have them check it. For what these things cost, it better be working in all categories.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. I have messed with it, zero success though. I found that if you turn it loud it just gets more echo. I normally run a 7.2 system. My receiver needed replacing, it took a week to arrive. Rear facing speakers are no win. Get a good sound bar, with a sub or home theater in a box both Klipsch and Polk make excellent entry level systems. You will be happier.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Denon x3400H with (6) Definitive Technology satellites, a Monitor Audio Radius 225 center channel, and a Yamaha YST-SW315 sub. It's a shame that I have to turn all this stuff on to get away from the table radio audio coming out of a TV that cost over two thousand dollars. I'm really disappointed in Samsung tech support for dropping my service request after failing to resolve the non-working equalizer issue. I recently purchased a Sony Smart 600 soundbar to switch to.
