And while I can't guarantee the TV's safety in an environment I can't see, I can tell you that an IP55 rating means the TV is "Protected against low pressure jets of water from all directions." QuestionCan the TV just not be installed in direct sunlight or not used in direct sunlight. I plan to install the unit along a pool side and only turn it on in the late evening hours.
