The 82" Q6F has three (3) pair of openings on the base of the TV. I don't know the measurements of all three sets, but I can tell you this. One set of openings places the legs just a couple of inches from the outer edge of the TV. Another set of openings places the legs near the center of the TV and, in my opinion, would put the TV at risk of falling over. I use the third set of openings which puts the legs 48" apart and 13" from the outer edge of the TV. I have my 82" TV on a stand that is 54" wide and it is very secure.
