“I recently installed my samsung Q6F 82''. when i use the netflix or internet or hulu app that comes on the tv already the screen begins to flash and strobe uncontrollably until i return back to my xfinity screen. can someone help or advise?”

I can’t help you with why it would flash or strobe but I use Roku to facilitate all of those services and many more channels. It’s much easier than the smart TV Apps. I have not had any problems with the picture this way. I don’t have cable and use Hulu Live streaming service.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue with some Netflix shows flickering badly and figured out that it had to do with HDR being enabled. Goto Settings, Picture, Expert Settings, scroll down to HDR+ and turn it off. From what I understand HDR automatically tries to figure out the best settings but doesn't always get it right depending on how the show was filmed which causes the flickering if HDR is enabled. Most of the shows work fine with it enabled. My guess is this will be fixed in a firmware update hopefully.
