The only reason to get the Samsung over the LG OLED is if you are concerned with static images causing burnin. Period. End of conversation. OLED is superior in every way. Picture wise, OLED is vastly better. Software wise, again LG is better. Samsung's software is buggy and causes issues with certain A/V receivers as well as Roku with HDR. Samsung also does not support Dolby Vision. If you watch mostly movies or other non-news shows don't even hesitate, get the LG. If you watch mostly broadcast TV with news/sports, especially channels with static images, get the Samsung. (CNN, Fox News, ESPN, etc...)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would go with the QLED that way you never have to worry about your expensive TV having burn in! The Q80 has almost pure blacks that match the OLED. Very happy with the Q80!
