“I have heard that your TV’s come with advertisements on the home screen and that they can’t be removed. One person had very inappropriate material for children that wasn’t able to be removed. Is it possible to turn these off?”

I own a Q90t and have not experienced this. It sounds like a rumor.

Advertisements within Samsung smart TVs are non intrusive meaning they will never pop up or block content. They occasionally appear on the left side of your smart hub, no larger than any other application. These advertisements will not feature inappropriate material, and are interest based giving you ads suited to the content you watch. To remove the advertisements you must disagree with the terms and conditions during setup, which will disable the smart features within the TV. ^Tim
