“Compatibility Question? Hi, I am looking to buy the "Samsung - 850 PRO 1TB Internal Serial ATA III Solid State Drive" for a new laptop I am getting. I am just wondering if it will be compatible with the "ASUS GL551 JW"? I am fairly certain that you can't remove the extra 128gb ssd that comes with this model, however, I am hoping that it is possible to remove the 1TB HDD and replace it with the "Samsung - 850 PRO 1TB Internal Serial ATA III Solid State Drive". Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks”

You have to find out if the old drive is SATA SSD. Look at Youtube and google your computer for forums that discuss it. Look at the prongs and size of the old drive. See if the 2.5" SATA SSD Samsung will connect the same way.
