No, as far as I know many of the MacBook air from 2012-2017 uses a special kind of proprietary hard drive that looks similar to a memory stick that can be inserted. But the recent MacBook air 2018/2019 I don't believe it is upgradable. So this kind of product you are asking question for is used for most desktop and Windows laptops, but some ?Macs and earlier Macbooks could use it but not Air.
