You'll need a SATA data cable with a free SATA port on the motherboard, and a SATA power connector cable from your power supply. You may also want to look into 3.5"-to-2.5" drive adapters so you can mount the SSD into the existing drive cage securely.

Please try again later.If your Laptop has a 2.5 Drive bay, you should be able to plug this in there with no issue. if you don't, depending on your laptop, you may have different options. as for the desktop, you will need a Sata Cable and an open sata port on the motherboard and a place to mount the SSD in your case. it should be a fairly simple plug n play scenario. if you type in sata cable in bestbuy, you will see different lengths of cable, choose one that fits best. hope this helps
