My R4 doesn’t have the M.2 plug on the motherboard. Go to dell .com put your service code number in support and you will find all the INFO you will need. I use the 500g ScabDisk ssd in my R4, and use the sata drive to backup.. Good Luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This will not fit into my R4. I use the 500g ssd drive from scan disc. My R4 doesn’t have the M.2 plug for the Samsung 970 M.2. Sorry! My R7 does have the M.2 plug and it will take the Samsung 970 M.2, I’m looking to go to a bigger drive now. Good luck. Go to dell.com and put your service code number in on support.
