It will but the speed would be reduced to an ordinary and cheaper sata ssd.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not sure about Pcie x16 working or not. You would require schematics and knowledge of it's OS and application etc. Or perhaps this will help. I just purchased an Asus A-15 and it has No SD card. WHAT? So by the 18th or 19th I have an adapter that goes from USB 3.0 on one side, and Type C on the other. Then on the sides of a Quality Looking Piece that I purchased there are both Micro and regular SD card inputs. Very Sharp and the best appearing type of connecter for Type C and USB Type A to SD and standard Reader. It was about $15.00 something and looks as if it's worth it. BUT it is coming from China. Just as DVD's went away so is the Card Reader. Anyway email me if you would like my eval on this item as a Card reader is a required item. Asus $999.99 and no sd reader? Not nice being it has A Smoking hot Ryzen 7 4000 series CPU with Nvidia 1660ti 6GB RAM GPU. With 16 GB standard RAM. You know some of these High End USB adaptesrs work Well. I had a Ethernet Door on a laptop break. Good Old HP. I purchased a Platinum 1GBS to USB 3.0 and the PC Flew. The standard port was only 10/100. So with the update made by the adapter it ran Super Fast! Can't wait to check my Desktop out to see what the Ethernet is running at. Perhaps it's Ethernet is marginal also. I will find out. Keep in touch if you would like my test results. Text later.....Mike R. .
