• The Samsung - 970 EVO Plus 250GB should work with any motherboard that has an M.2 connector slot. I've not seen a recent motherboard that doesn't, but I would check the motherboards specification to ensure it does.

• Not all motherboards have the m.2 port. As far as which MB, that is highly subjective and what is "best" depends on many factors like budget, gaming setup or office use, desire for very compact setup, brand of CPU etc...
