I just plugged mine in and it worked like a charm. I have one PCIe slot, it set up without any hassle.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is an M.2 solid state. You cannot use a SATA connection. Look up the manufacturer's specs on your motherboard. If you don't have a dedicated PCI slot for a standard M.2, you would be best advised to look into the SATA style Solid State Drive. They are very fast and will really perk your system up. Your board must list M.2 compatibility, or it will not accept this drive. Good luck :).
