From what I have read, it may depend in your current configuration, depends in what kind of processor and motherboard you have. You must look for your motherboard documentation. It should not give you a compatibility problem, but it may slow down your graphic card or disable some of you SATA ports because PCIe ports share bandwidth or something like that. But to be sure you have to look for your PC or motherboard documentation.
