No, the 980 non Pro is a Gen 3 pci-e drive not Gen 4, the requirements for PS5 has to be a Gen 4 drive. Youtubers have shown that Gen 3 drives are not compatible like the 970 Evo Plus and other Gen 3. Only Gen 4 will work.

No it’s not a PCIE 4.0 drive. You need a 980 Pro or similar.
