• It should work in that slot if it has the capacity for M2 2280 memory at 2 TB. Need to check if you will need a heat sink though it is only warm not hot in my Gigabyte AM5 motherboard heat sink.

• I have mine in a gen 2 slot. It works it's just running at a slower speed, it won't hit gen 4 speeds.
