I have an 8Tb HD that I now use on the ps5, but only to play ps4 games and store ps5 games as I ran out of room. eventually, the ps5 will be able to play ps5 games off the external but I don’t think the externals are fast enough… yet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The PS4 uses a standard hard disc drive so no unfortunately this wouldn’t work. You could install a larger hard disc drive inside the PS4 or use an external model which are readily available for a reasonable price for a 2TB model.
