The PS5 designation simply means that Sony has approved the use of this chip for their PS5 system. Other than that it's a standard solid state drive, it should install and format as any other SSD would

It's an m.2 SSD yes you can use it for PC. You'll have to reformat it because it is formatted for the PS5 and that will erase everything on it. But you can take it out of your PS5 put it in a PC no different than you could take it out of a PC and put it in a PS5. You just have to understand that any data that you have on it will be lost in the formatting process

Absolutely. Be sure to use it in an M.2 slot that doesn’t already have some sort of heat sink or cover, because you won’t be able to remove the Samsung SSD from its heatsink.
