Please try again later.Absolutely you can but I will tell you if you have like a Samsung T5 or Samsung T7 or other good SATA3 SSD I would use that to store an Play your PS4 games that aren't updated for PS5 that way you can save all the room for PS5 games. That's how I have done mine all my PS4 games I had running through a Samsung T7 on my PS4 Pro and just moved it over to my PS5 and now I've got a 2TB M.2 980 Pro. There are some games that do benefit from running it through the m.2. Like Last of Us Part 2 or God of War 2018 or any game that has an upgrade for the PS5
