“Can the firmware be updated at the store at time of purchase before leaving if you don’t have a pc at home to update it on so it can be installed on a ps5 to have it reach its full speeds of 6500 instead of only 5500/5600 ?”

I didn’t do the software update and just did the plug and play to test. It was running the full speed. But I had read that you can ask the Geek Squad to update the firmware though I’m not sure if they charge for that.

Thankfully, prob since it shows as being manufactured 2/2022, it was blazing fast right out of the box (PS5 read as 6486 MB/s at install).
