Anonjas: The Samsung 990 EVO Plus SSD is an NVMe drive, which means it uses the PCIe interface rather than the SATA interface. Unfortunately, NVMe drives are not backward compatible with SATA, so the 990 EVO Plus will not operate in SATA mode. - Samsung Memory
