• This M.2 is specifically M.2 2280 and according to ASUS webpage for the Z370 Maximum X, the following sizes can be used: ・ 1 x 2242~2280 (PCIe 3.0 x4 + SATA) ・ 1 x 2242~2280 (PCIe 3.0 x4) So you are in the clear if you want to sue this with that motherboard.
