I have 2 990 pro 2TBs in my PC and they are super fast. Haven't had any issues with overheating or write speeds

The 990 Pro drives from Samsung are a good and logical upgrade from the 980. Make sure to check if your motherboard has support for PCIE 4.0 M.2 drives before you make the purchase.
