Does it have to be plugged up to charge devices? null

It's not a battery. It needs to be plugged in with old style charger cord to the pad. Dont lose it. It is new in box.....from 2014. Great backup for 20$

This will come with a cable and wall adapter that you will plug into the wall and to the unit. Then just lay your phone on the unit.
