• Hey Samsungboi, excellent question! I can't speak to its effectiveness with the OtterBox Defender specifically, but our wireless chargers will work best when there isn't a case on the phone. How they work with a case on largely depends on that case's thickness. You may be able to find a floor model at a brick-and-mortar store to test your particular setup. ^Matthew
