My immediate answer is that I don't think this monitor is compatible with my Macbook Air with the M1 chip. When I start to work on my Macbook, the monitor is searching for the HDMI connection. To restore the connection, I have to close my Macbook, turn off the monitor, unplug the HDMI cable, open my laptop, plug the HDMI cable into my Macbook, and turn on the monitor. I am using a robust HDMI cable with an ANKER adapter, the same items I used with my 24" Dell monitor, and I had no issues. I tried using the HDMI cable that came with the monitor, but that didn't solve my problem. If this issue continues to frustrate me, I may buy a new HDMI cable and HDMI adapter or use my Dell monitor again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
