You dump the excess water from the wash bin into the actual washer. The washer is powered on when using the active wash system so when it powers down, it automatically drains the remaining water left in the tub so no standing water is remaining. A very sanitary function!

The tub then drains when the Washer is powered off or on before starting a wash cycle, which uses fresh water. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.After hand washing, you lift the sink to dump the water into the tub of the washer. Or, dump the hand wash as well in to the tub so it can go through a full wash.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a gap in the back of the activewash basin and as you flip it up it drains into the washer. The water goes into the actual washer. I don't use the basin often but somehow the water seems to drain out the bottom holes of the washer.
