• Yes, the unit comes with anchoring straps and hardware, but I wouldn't say they are particularly sturdy.

• There are metal straps included that can attach to the rear/top of the unit then screw into the wall to provide some support.

• No need to anchor it to the wall. Most of the weight is on the bottom of the unit so does not tip. Carpet flooring is fine. THey actually provide a piece that mounts to the bottom of the unit that can catch any water spill over while opening or closing the door due to steam.
