Yes. I use Downy Wrinkle Releaser and spray my shirts before placing them in the AirDresser. If you use the garment weight (included) it will greatly enhance the effect of the appliance. It also enhances the shirts I place in therewith the fragrance from the Downy spray.

As far as the wrinkle removal ability, expect 80% maximum removal from any garment. Heavier cottons and linens and you can expect even less. This appliance has an extremely narrow use case, and you are probably better off with dry cleaning, a steam dryer, or old-fashioned ironing. Using a steam wand will get you about the same results at a far lower cost.
