“The specs show a depth of 27 5/16 in. However they note cut out size of 24 in deep. Does the 27 5/16 include the handle depth? I have not heard of a dishwasher that is actually 27 in deep needing a 24 in cutout? sticking out 3 in past counter?”

Our cutout was the standard 24”. So the handle will stick out a bit. See the attached pictures to get a better idea of what I’m talking about. HTH.

Without the handle the depth is 25 inches. The cabinet must be at least 24 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and 34 1/8 inches high. For the front door of the dishwasher to be flush with the leading edge of the counter top, the counter top must be at least 25 inches deep. Leo
