• Unfortunately no, i tried using google play through the web browser but it just wouldn't let me select anything. HBO now is also not available. It used to be but maybe samsung didnt renew the license to continue using it on theyre devices.

• HBO Now App is a part of Samsung SmartHub so you should be able to access and download to the DVD player. You could always call their customer service to confirm.
