You cannot watch 3D on a non-3D TV. To get 3D you must have 3D player, 3D TV, and 3D glasses. In some cases depending on your equipment, and the disc your wanting to play - you can play a 3D disc in 2D. But it all depends on the equipment and the disc itself. MOST 3D discs come in bundles that include the 2D BluRay with it and some times a digital copy. Hope that helps.
