There are several reasons that this may be the case. If I were to guess I would suspect that your greens are freezing and thawing. If your refrigerator is too full and there isn’t proper airflow that can cause this. If you have kids like mine and they change the temp it can cause this. If your produce suppliers are getting older product that is at the end of its life it can cause this too. Having a previous fungal infection in the drawer can cause this as well. I would start by cleaning the drawers to make sure the spores are gone and then make sure my kids were not changing the temperature. Odds are that would solve my problem.
