“My refrigerator was delivered, and it barely fits in the sides. There's 2" space in the back and 4.5" at the top. The width is pretty snug everywhere except where the counter is. Is this ok, or does it need more space for ventilation?”

We have a built in surround for ours. It’s pretty tight. It seems fine. We have had a couple of different fridges and none have had a problem

Hi Cliff, Great question. We understand and appreciate your inquiry about the proper clearance for the fridge. Those clearances for the back and the top are great; as for the side, as long as you swing the doors easily, having the side snug is okay. Have a great day. ^Charles
