• No, I didn’t have that problem at all! This fridge fits perfectly and doesn’t bump into anything. My loved ones really enjoy it. What a great purchase!

• Hello YolandaM, Yes, this fridge requires 2.5 inches of clearance on the hinge side of the unit when installed next to a wall with which the handle may make contact. Have a great day. -John
