- Answer Hi there, Yes, the hood can be vented to the outside. There are three venting methods that you can choose to set up, depending on your preference. Please see the "Important Safety Instructions" section on page 6, the "Installation Requirements" section on pages 7 - 10 and the "Installation" section on pages 11 - 21 to help you choose a venting method and to know how to install it. - Answer Hi Lisa, Yes, you can use the hood in an 88" ceiling, as long as the mounting height is correct. Please see the "Setting the Location" section on page 11 of the user's manual.
