• I think it could. If i remember correctly, there are settings in the fridge in the electronic function that allows those to be turned off.

• Yes you can still use it normally. Just shut off the ice maker on the inside of the door. We used it that way for about a month before hooking up the water supply.

• Good Day. We have purchased the version that has the AutoFill Water Pitcher and automatic Ice maker. And we have no intention of ever hooking up a water source. This refrigerator runs just fine without it.
